In 1968, the Pester-Derby gas station opened on the corner of Main Street in Pella, IA. Upon closure of the gas station, the building remained empty for some time. The old gas station was renovated into an ice cream shop and De Scoop opened in 2010. More than a decade later, De Scoop is still serving the town of Pella with commitment to customers.
